Water Chestnuts

I have some tinned water chestnuts left over from last night - could I freeze them. It was 80p for a small tin - so don't really want to waste them!

Yes, you can freeze them. I always do. As you say, they are expensive! They do make all the difference to a stir fry.
I also freeze leftover tinned bamboo shoots.
They are decanted into a lock and lock container and I leave the liquid in.0 -
Same here,I got a portion of mixed water chestnits & bamboo shoots with a Chinese take away a couple months ago,I portioned the left overs into 4 small freezer bags & froze them,just add them still frozen to the stir fry tho.0
