closure of bank account

I bank with natwest and yesterday the fraud dept closed my account and cancelled all my direct debits without any explanation. The local branch cannot get any explanation for this either. Has this happened to anybody else??

Was the account closed because of your activity or that of a third party?
Have the bank actually cancelled the direct debits or transferred them to a new account?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). if it were fraud they wont disclose it to you as this would be 'tipping off'. Whats been going on with your account then?0
