Menu Planning

I plan our menus and price them all up for the month but it becomes very boring and tedious and often we miss out on offers - so is it better to menu plan for the week or for the month?

why not plan what you have while going round the supermarket that way it's easy to add up the cost and you don't miss out on the offers!Winnings: John Deere Model Tractor:j

I want to start using pigsback to earn the points - if we spend aprrox £200 a month that works out at a tenner a month to use for aunts and uncles for xmas.

I tend to plan weekly, but buy reduced meat/ fish etc for the week AFTER.
So say IM wlking round Mr ts, Ive got my plan using last weeks bargains, so I buyt what I need to turn thse into meals, and then check the bagain corner for the week following. ( eg if I pick up chicken or pork chops etc, I plan with those for the following week) and so on.
I cnat plan fortnightly, we dont have a big ktchen & our fridge isnt big at all, and we struggle to buy weekly cos of this IYSWIM:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
I plan weekly, for the same reason - because I find it boring if I know 3 weeks in advance what I'm going to eat. But I quite often leave one day blank too, so we have a 'surprise' (ie, whatever was going cheap in Asda, something from the storecupboard, or if we're feeling a bit flush, a take-away).
