I was looking at my local swimming pool site.
And noticed that children under 5 who are registered in the area get to swim for free till their 5th birthday. Which consits of filling a form, no i.d needed i was told over the phone. In all pools in the surrounding area are inc so not limited to the closest pool. You get givin a card with the child details to use up to their 5th birthday. This is very handy and save a few pounds in my purse each time. It will encourage me to lose some of that preggy weight. I would of not noticed this offer if it wasnt for the site. As they dont mention this in the swimming pool. I thought my health visitor would tell me, or hav a poster in the doctor/baby clinic.
Off swimming tomorrow with my 18mth boy and gonna register him for his free swims.
Oh over 60yr get free swim in my area too, as long as they are registered in the area.
Oh my area is west Lothian.
so its worth checking your local pool, to see if they do this.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Our local swimming pool has free swim at all times for children up to 16. It saves me an absolute fortune.0

Most pools don't charge for children until they are aged 2yrs. My local health clinic have been promoting this free swim info for a while so it may be going to be a nationwide thing.Olympic bronze challenge-started 7/1/06-total so far is £194.300
