asda gift cards

just been reading an article on yahoo finance.
apparently asda have bought out gift cards.
load it with £144 and they add £6 to it.
they say this is the equivalent to an apr of 12.9% before tax
you can have as many cards as you want and there doesnt appear to be a time limit for their use.
put on less than £144 per card then the " interest " is substantially lower.
sorry if i am duplicating someone elses post.

They are the Christmas savings cards and have been around for years. I have been using them since about 2008.
Just load them with £144 and they add £6 just before Christmas. Only downside is that you have to do all your shopping at Asda. I usually take my sister with me (who shops using cash) and I pay for her shopping with the savings card and she gives me the cash."Men are generally more careful of the breed(ing) of their horses and dogs than of their children" - William Penn 1644-1718
