Advantis Student loan letter

Hi all,
Gota letter from advantis regarding a sum of £3200 from the student loan company.
I already pay the student loan company directly from my wages so am unsure where this 3200 is from, maybe to do with me leaving uni half way through my 2nd year.
Anyhow, They said on the letter i have 7 days to pay it back or set up a repayment plan, i am wondering, if this can affect my credit rating. Which is very good. I thought student loans could not impact on your credit report. But it says in the letter that if i dont respond they may get a court order to take money directly from my wages or send someone round to the house .
Any advice for me.

Could it be an overpayment of grants? I'd be checking with the SLC to find out why they have referred it to Advantis though0

HMRC deal with the collection of Student Loans.
Could be HMRC have referred the collection of the underpaid Student Loan to Advantis D(ebt) C(ollection) A(gency) = DCA
