    Yes, he made his reasons for leaving clear and at the same time as sending the resignation letter he also opened a grievance against the company, the first grievance meeting has been heard and we are now in the process of appealing.

    That appears to say that he put in the grievance at the same time as resigning. If that is the case then how could the company address the accusation?

    You go from the formal date of termination given on the P45.

    As that is September 24th, the last day for submitting a tribunal claim is 23rd Dec (though you should not leave it that close to christmas as if anything goes wrong and the tribunal do not receive the complaint for some reason, it will be too late by the time you find out).

    On a separate but related issue - you do realise that less than 3% of CD claims are successful?
