Asda Price Guarantee Glitches

I am pretty sure this has not been shared here yet and feel a moral obligation to share it here.

£94.20 worth of shopping for 61p

Now this is complicated and should not be rushed but has worked consistently for the past few shops giving us amazing savings.

So most supermarkets offer a price guarantee ensuring that you pay the same as the other supermarkets & sometimes they give you the difference + an extra % back (i.e. Asda).

These are useful things to know BUT just like we get price glitches in store we also get price glitches on the comparison sites that help run the price guarantees.

For example certain chocolates are on 3 for £10 at the moment HOWEVER some of these boxes are not showing on the system that they're in the offer, meaning the system believes you only purchased 2 of the 3 needed for the promotion and then compares those 2 items against the full priced variety at the other supermarket instead so thinks you've got a rubbish deal.

You must buy exactly these items from Asda for this to work, ensure you check the sizes are exactly the same!!!!

Once you've purchased the items you have to input your receipt into the checker on http://goo.gl/mWLLc

Type in your barcode and you will get a voucher for your next shop.

► Type in your barcode from receipt and you will get an Asda price guarantee refund, we got 1 for £11.50 & 1 for £7.30. The above shop should cost you roughly £15 to £20. Making it roughly £5 to £10 after the discount.

You print off the voucher (or can take in store to print, there are people stood next to printers) behind checkouts.

Few things to remember:

You must buy 8 different items & a maximum of 10 of the same item. It's recommended that you buy 10 to 11 items as sometimes they don't count. The maximum you can get back from Asda is £15 per go.

Each household can only claim £100 back per calendar month & maximum of 10 per month.

Remember this could change at any point but if it does you could just take back the chocolate boxes and walk away with a standard priced shop.

If you've got to the bottom of this and still don't understand it all it's probably worth re-reading the whole thing. Failing that don't rush into anything and maybe do it another day (when we repost it).

To get the £94.20 worth of shopping for 61p we did this multiple times and used several vouchers along with previous vouchers from these sort of glitches.

They did it several times, although to be honest I would probably speak to some of the guys on that Facebook post or wait for someone experienced to come along haha, I have no doubt it has worked for them though they are a trustworthy advice source, they just did the same shop a few times you see.

I have modified the title as it was misleading and gave the impression that it was a one off shop for that reduction.

In order to get that reduction it seems you need to do multiple shops and use a large variety of coupons and vouchers.

It does. I was just about to post this. You need to pay the money up front, and then you'll get a voucher back.

Also, I'm not sure, but the voucher was capped at £15 a while back so if you earn more than that, that's all you'll get.

I love seeing the posts of the Asda "raids", but not for me. Something would go wrong if I attempted it!!

Also, this was posted on there page a few days ago and they did warn people that asda might change the prices by the following morning as they do, so some of it might go work like they did when the original post was made. Good luck and hats off to anyone that's done this tho!

I don't get where the 61p comes from. The 3f£10 chocs will cost you £10 as there are no vouchers for this.
Of course you get the apg back and can then spend it, but you have still spent £10 of your own cash - how do you reduce it to 61p?

Yeah. I'm trying to work that out. It looks like a load of vouchers to be used.
