Hi,
I know I'm a bit late but can I join in the challenge? I did a similar thing in March where I stopped taking cash out, because whenever I have cash in my purse it just gets spent of rubbish (mostly chocolate!) and I saved loads! I kinda went back to my old ways in April and so would like to join in this to get back on track! I just got paid today so it is the perfect time to start!

Welcome Nickelodeon!!! This challenge is great and is really helping realise (even though I've been here a little while and should be fully in control) the holes where the money disappears. IM BACK!!
I would sya shiny and new but thats just a lie :rotfl:
I am however, not BF-less, I have however manage to acquire new and improved version who blew my socks off yesterday (no not like that!) and really opened up and we sorted so many things out, and decided together how to save our relationship.........
:j So I feel absolutely bloody marvellous :j
But dont worry guys and girls, I'll still be here
I feel a hell of a lot lighter I can tell you!
Right back to the matter in hand
I spent money yesterday............ in an effort to cheer myself up!
I spent £3.99 on a book and some note cards to send to my friendlies
Its called 1001 ways to save the planet and its really cool!:rotfl:
And its not all about loft insulation etc, it's for the little people. Great for someone like me who only has control over certain things!!!
So thats my next project, saving the worldWealth is not measured by currency0 -

Happy Birthday Mrs MH. I drank a little wine last night and my stomach is all butterflies now. I was celebrating having no work.
DH downloaded Dolly Parton for me for my birthday so I'm listening to it and jigging away. Does that make me sad?
I finally went to the tip and got rid of all the rubble I'd created so far. I've dug up another 2 slabs but it's getting really hard going as the concrete is so hard. I've scratched up my arm on one of the slabs which is going to look lovely with my pretty new dress on Sunday!
Scary thing is that when I have got all the slabs up I then have an area of solid concrete to smash and remove. It's about 6 feet by 25 feet and is going to virtually kill me off.
Tonight I am going to have a real treat and have a lovely deep bubble bath.
DH's friend came round last night and was trying to persuade us to go out on Saturday night for my birthday but I don't want to because 1 I don't know who would babysit 2 I would like to see the children first thing in the morning on my birthday 3 we haven't had a weekend together for ages 4 I don't want to 5 I don't want to! I hate clubbing I did all that when I was a teenager and I like to be able to hear what people are saying to me now.

Well things are not going so good for me here my poor cat got ran over yesterday took him to the vets when I found him when I got in from work the vet thought he ought to stop there he was having antibotics and xray today and either his leg or thigh night be broken and his jawline didnt look good so hopefully he will be ok but this means my unnecessary spend might go up a tad but he is worth itFrugal challenge 2025

oh PG I do hope your cat is better... what a horrid thing to have happen. Did noone mention seeing it, or the person who did it not do anything?
KAZ- Do whatever you want hun. Its the one day of the year where you should have total rule. It doesn't happen often so dont get dragged into making anyone else social life for them. Enjoy whatever it is you get up to though xx
I've written up my shopping list, hoping for a lift to asda later from Queen Mum. I'm aiming for £15 or less. Some much needed help from LynzPower has meant I've got a pretty tight meal plan for the week, using up a lot of what ive got so that'd be pretty cool if I could manage that.
I'm hoping i get sent a few more mystery shop assignments to sign up to. Only got one this month for £8, so would really like to get a few more, as my outgoings for this month have fallen into a negative. Only this month only, but with any luck I'll get the money the bf owes me on monday, so that would put it back into positive.Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
