checking up on alcohol this early eh Kaz?!
    tut tut!

    lol
Hope your DS settles for you so you can get a snooze. I cant imagine doing nights, and you've done 5 straight haven't you?

Right its about time I got myself off to worky poos. Am pretty happy now I've changed my shops opening hours, 10-6 now, so I dont have to be there till half 9. So if I ever need to get anything beforehand I can, and more importantly (dependant what time I get up!!) get up and have an MSE fix in the morning which sets me up for the day :)

I did 5 straight then had Tuesday off, worked last night and now I'm off until Wednesday night.
I have to check up on alcohol now because it's coming later and if I leave it then I can't change the order! (That and I'm obsessed!)
I was chatting to the girls at work last night and one was saying that she can't cut her living costs down any more and I said she could quite easily. She's got in a bit of a pickle spending money since she had some work done on her house and has tried to cut down. I was trying to show her that she could cut her outgoings by just prioritising and said she didn't have to be manic like I am, just make some small adjustments here and there.
She said I made her laugh because it seemed unnatural for someone as young as me to want to do this but I think the others are all thinking about it now!
I'm lucky to work with a lovely bunch of people where we can all pull each others leg about stuff but it would be nice to feel I've influenced people enough to try and knock even one month off their debt free day!
One of my mates has gone bonkers doolally tap with it in regard to holidays when I told her she couldn't have a holiday this year she went and used all the tesco codes, reduced her spending by loads cut her loan and put it on a 0% credit card which she has now paid in full and is going on an all inclusive holiday to dominican republic in september courtesy of mr T. Quidco and Rpoints are paying her spending money. I'm so proud!!

I too keep logging on at work which I really shouldn't - have got plenty of things I should be getting on with so will make it short!!

I think we should start an MSE dating thread!! - One man and the women go crazy!!

I haven't spent any more of my tenner since mon (still got £2 left). I also haven't needed to put any petrol in so I was wondering if any1 would mind if I used my budgeted petrol money to go to the pub 2moro nite? I am going to be working in my friends mums pub at weekends to try and raise a few extra pennies and won't get the chance for ages after this.

CAFC - finishing with bf should mean that you have more time to give us not less!! Best of luck n be strong - be true to yourself.

    Hope every1's well. Luv Jxx

OMG - You lot can half talk:rotfl: Havent been on for a couple of days and has taken me about 1 1/2 hours (in TWO sittings) to catch up with all the shinanegans on here:eek:

Welcome James, but I am a little confused:confused: I thought we had sorted it out that Zed was of the male variety also??? Anyway, 2 is much better than one so ..... no fighting now girls who has who :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Meal that I was meant to go on last night was postponed so didnt spend any money there .... hurrah! But is only put off until next week, so will have to spend money then (boo!).

Went to town today to pay in my earnings from business, and went to a couple of charity shops and bought......

    Bra - BNWOT - 99p
Birthday present (which can be split into 2) - £3.99
Birthday card for niece - 59p
    2 drinking glasses - 99p

Also went to Mr T's and spent £30 on clothes, but before you all gasp
I had a £6 off voucher from You Quit packets and will take clothes back and get £30 refund, hence £6 up on the day :j

So as birthdays are covered in budget and glasses are for house, my only spend was 99p on a bra (which I really did need as others are falling apart!!)

Good luck with your 'soon to be' ex Queenie and remember we are here if you need a shoulder to cry on. :grouphug:
When you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying! :rotfl:
  • I've figured out why i'm over budget last two weeks. I'm spending a fortune on cappucino at 5p a go....

So you're claiming none of you have been tapped?

    A likely story... :rotfl:

LOL - u guys make me laugh when I've been so emotional all day.

I've been bursting in2 tears - first at work (about 3 times) coz I had a really nasty lady on the phone telling me that I wasn't entitled to any housing benefit - despite meeting all the criteria (turns out that they hadn't taken in to account my childcare costs so they are going to recalculate and write to me). She was really patronising and I felt really degraded and cheap by the time she had finished with me.

And then on the train coz there was a nanny with her 2 grandchildren on the train and that got me crying as well!! I wish my children had a nanny like that - even though they do have family who love them very much.

Anyway enough blubbing, chin up and off to get my gorgeous girls from school.

    Luv Jxx

    PS haven't spent anything I shouldn't today
PPS 2 men??? Oooooooooooh very exciting!!!
