Yeah I'm about £150 a week better off working but obviously ill have to recalculate that and it'll depend how much I give my parents for looking after the wee ones while I'm at work, that'll still be cheaper than a nursery or childminder , and more.convenient! my last income support payment will be next Tuesday or the Tuesday after and will include a job grant and I get a 4 week run on of housing benefit and council tax benefit so that takes me up to Xmas eve, I checked that with the council today.Remember...You are not a salmon!0

I've just put the figures into entitledto and according to it I'll be £163.62 per week better off once I start work! That's mental.
And hopefully the CSA won't take too long to start collecting maintenance from the ex so things definitely aren't as bleak as they looked last week!
So there's really only wonga and txtloan I need to make arrangement with to start paying them backRemember...You are not a salmon!0 -

I really don't understand people in similar positions to mine who think they're better off not working!
Now, does anyone know how much commission shopacheck agents get paid? I'm going to offer reduced payments for two months until I get back on my feet and get Christmas out of the way but I've had accounts with the same agent for about 12 years, she's like an old friend, I need to know I'm not doing her out of loads of money!
I read somewhere its 7% is that correct? That would mean she only makes £3.15 a week from me!Remember...You are not a salmon!0 -
I don't know how the commission system works - but wouldn't be too worried for her. If you pay reduced payments for a couple of months you will then be paying for longer which is bad for you, but in the long run means she gets commission for longer! But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.
