Any one bought this model and have any feedback?? Thought it would be better to buy one for the house than hiring one or getting professional cleaners in.

I bought the Rapid XL pro the other year and to be fair i wish I hadn't but then i did have light carpets and a front door which opened staright into the living room so i could never get the carpet clean and still had to resort to getting the professionals in once a year! Unless you can find one at a really bargain price (B and Q usually have some sort of offer on these things) i would suggest sticking to getting the professionals in:hello:  It's official I'm addicted to Boots - the total on my Advantage Card has gone over £300  :hello:0

Have a look at the above link - not sure how it compares to the VAX but it's a lot cheaper. I've never used Valueland and have only stumbled across them earlier today after following a link from BargainSpy...
As for the VAX - we have one at home but I've not been the one to actually use it but it appears to do an alright job on the carpets though. That's Numberwang!0

Since posting my OP I have been doing many google searches and found a better price for this model from comet (theres a 20% discount code on offer there). But one can get the next model up 028 from electrical247 or empirestores for £99 inc delivery. Plus don’t forgot Quidco cashback0

You can get a number of Vax Carpet cleaners from Tescos as half price, including the 028M for £64.07.

This is the 028M which does not include on board tools. I prefer the 028 model hence why the price is very good of the Tesco model.0
