Do the hair skin and nails vitamins make you gain weight

No, hair skin and nails vitamins do not cause weight gain at least not that I have heard of. Why do you ask?

Depends what's in them. I doubt there would be much which would make you gain actual body mass (as in fat or similar) but maybe there could be something which could result in less water loss if say your having a lot of caffeine and losing too much water, maybe there is something which helps combat this- or maybe calcium to help rebuild your bones (you do NOT want weight loss via your bones, trust me, it isn't a good idea!) or maybe extra nutrients to help you build muscles (muscles are good in terms of fat loss- they require more calories to keep going and this means your body would have fewer calories to store if you were eating more than you needed.
I would have thought the only thing you'd need to worry over is if they contained sugar and tbh extra sugar in pill form is going to mean you need to take an awful lot of pills to gain anything significant so in my mind it's unlikely your going to see weight gain from a pill unless your taking a lot of them every day (as in hundreds).0 -
