Gift for 15 year old girl

I want to buy a small gift (cost £5-£10) for my friends 15 year old daughter. Could anyone with daughters this age give me an idea of what she may like?
I have a stash of body shop stuff in the present cupboard - do you think lip balm, shower gel and scrub or moisturiser would be good for this age? I also have a Hello Kitty make up bag (a 'grown up' style one, black with silver on), I wondered whether to put a few bits like lip balm in this?
Any suggestions appreciated!

I think the body shop gift you mention would be good if she's a bit of a girly girl (not so good if she's a tomboy!). I have a friend with a daughter about the same age and she likes that sort of thing or other cosmetic type stuff (nail polish gift sets, perfumes etc).Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0

I think the lip balm and bodyshop stuff would make a lovely gift for her

They sound like good ideas. My niece is a year younger and I'll be getting her a make up bag with bath stuff and a few lipglosses and bits in too as she's all grown up all of a sudden

I think your suggestions are perfect for a girl that age.0

Even now I'm "old", I'd love a Hello Kitty bag and some lip balm!
I hope your friend's daughter doesn't have any allergies though - I remember getting some Body Shop stuff as a tween and reacting badly to some bubble bath. (Or was it shower gel?) 0 -
My daughter's about to be 14 so a little younger but loves Body Shop stuff and would be delighted with some as a present.0

Avon do lovely fruity body sprays that my daughter really likes.
And this is the "In" lip balm

When I was 15 I wasn't keen on receiving shower gels. Lip balms, makeup, perfume, jewellery went down well though.Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.0

I definitely think the body shop stuff is a fair shout for a girl of that age. I wouldnt worry about alergies either tbh as the body shop is natural and so its more likely she would be allergic to something else.Saving for our next step up the property ladder0
