Where can I buy cheap glass lampshades >£10?

I moved into my house in January & I sitll haven't bought any celing lampshades. They are all single lightbulbs (no 3, 5 arm light fittings etc). All the glass & glass effect light fittings seem to be in the £30 region. As I need light fittings for ever room (approximately 10 celing light shades) they I am looking to spend around £10 per light fitting.

Does anyone know where I can find either online or in the shops some nice glass or glass effect clear light fittings? I don't want coloured ones as I find they either tint the room or block out too much light.

I live in London if anyone knows any local shops.

I already tried Ebay but they are expensive there too!

Why not try ikea,I have just put some in my hall .I think they were about £14 each but there are lots to chose from.

If you go to the Swedish shop remember to buy the light fitting reducers for your lampshades. Only a few pence each, continental fittings are larger than ours.

try dunelm if you have one near you I got some lovley ones there!

Thanks for the advice. I looked on the Dunelm & Ikea websites. They do have some nice ones there for about £15.

I went to Wilkinson yesterday & they had those 3 & 5 arm lights which are suitable for the living room for £5 so I bought one of those. I also found a pack of 4 of those wire mesh shades on Ebay for £18 inc postage so I bought a pack of 4 as I have 4 lights in my hallway.

So I am halfway there now!

As you say Wilkinsons are fairly good value and often have half price offers on.

I would recommend keeping an eye on Tescos - if you have one near you that sells homewear as they also have some nice stuff often knocked down to very silly prices.
