I'm onto the last of my stash now, and I've recently spent my £2500 worth of B&Q giftcards aswell (and no i didnt recycle at all until it was over and i got bitter lol), its the end of an era lol
  • Could someone please explain how Amazon go about taking payment??
I ordered something from them yesterday but they haven't charged my card at all.
Looks like there are lots of options for adding/cancelling items & changing delivery preferences.

Do they automatically take payment at point of dispatch, can i just forget about it now or am I expected to do something else?

    thanks

Your card will be charged when the order enters the dispatch process. Your order status will change to either "dispatching soon" or "processing for dispatch" at this point

They only take the payment when they are ready to despatch and will send you an email when they do/have done.

I've bought the hideous Disney Princess light shade.... my 5 year old will love it..... (in fact there will probably be a fight between the 5 & 3 year old).

Sure I had bought more tat than this by this point last year......
Smile and be happy, things can usually get worse!
  • Thanks davethorp & lallysmum that is a relief, seems strange as charging the card is usually the first thing to happen.

I cancelled my order for the Le Creuset dish :( Not happy about cancelling it but...... I shouldn't be spending the money on something that I don't need :money:
Can't think of anything smart to put here...
