I don't get the Kitchen Aid hysteria at all. My wee granny was the best baker in the world and all she had was a wooden spoon. I'm a not bad baker and I've managed for years with a 4.99 electric whisk from Argos. I do however have a few friends with money who can't bake to save themselves who have shiny Kitchen Aids in an array of colours purely to make their kitchens look good. Over priced, over hyped status symbol imo.

Can someone help me with the difference between the Anti Virus and the Software Security... fiancee is a software geek and told me to get the Anti Virus if under £10 but the Software one has sold out really quickly so is that better for 2 quid more?? Helpppppppppp
If he's a software geek he should be advising you that you never need to spend money on anti-virus ;)

I'm a big fan of things like the Hunger Games; Percy Jackson.. books in general.. I wonder if I'll like this or not.. any advice?

I love the series (to the extent we've had to watch online as we don't have sky in our house!) but found the books to be a little harder to read, just because of the language. I will get round to reading it though and at that price it's a bargain! Go for it, it'll get you hooked :D

All but two of my items appear to be packaged in the same parcel.
I hope the pressure washer doesn't crush my bath bombs and other items.
I would have thought the washer would've been sent separately. :(

I'm guessing that as they are discounting a LITTLE more than usual, they're trying to save packaging costs. Also, dispatch dept will be busier than usual this week, so trying to pack stuff quicker ??
I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say. :)

TGOT is medieval fantasy with shades of The Lord of The Rings, if it had been written by Stephen King IMO. I really loved the depth of the characters - fully 3D in that there's good and bad in pretty much everyone. There's lots of battle scenes, strategy discussion, bedroom athletics (:D), Machiavellian plots and quite a bit of humour.

And dragons. Mustn't forget the dragons! :rotfl:

I love it! Can't wait for the next book!

next to lord of the rings, my favourite books, GRRM has done one hell of a job writing the ASOIAF series, cant wait for book 6 - winds of winter!!

if anyone hasn't read them, and like their fantasy, you WILL NOT be disappointed with the ASOIAF books. (or game of thrones as people keep calling it, but that is only the first book and the tv show.)

I've not read the books, I hate fantasy, but I did watch the tv series because Sean Bean is sexy as hell in it :) #pointlesspost

  • Well it doesn't look like I'm going to be buying anything tonight, nothing I really fancy.

Did just have the Kipling bag in my basket but threw it back after reading the reviews about how small it was :/
