Well, grabbed the dog collar. Agree with other poster that the price seemed a little "off", but hey ho.
Snuck in a filofax for me because oooooo I just love filofaxes & notebooks and all that. :j
OH won't be impressed, apparently I "have enough". Whatever!:p
I won't tell if you don't!!

okay - I have bought the Acer for my daughter - first christmas present down - hopefully the OH will think it was a bargain...hmmmmm.....
The plus side is that I have crossed the next 6 things off my list that I was going to look at as they were for me, and I've decided that spending £280 in one day is plenty!
So...I'm off to cook dinner and stay away from temptation!!!0 -
Ok just been talking to somebody on the live amazon chat about the price of one of the deals:
Me:Hello, I bought the citronella anti bark collar on today's black friday deal. Before the deal went live, the price was £28.79. When the deal went live, it said 50% off and the price was now £20.49. Either my maths are suddenly really bad, or the correct deal price should have been £14.40?
It can't mean 50% off the RRP, as I purchased a dress on black friday the other day - original price £40, 50% off black friday price £20...
Kriszanne Dawn:Thank you for choosing Amazon Chat, my name is Kriszanne.
I understand your concern about the Lightning Deals promotion that was offered for your order.
I have tried to check on the deals we have for the day and I was not longer able to see the item.
The promotion offered for the item was 50% correct?
Me:Can't you click 'missed deals'? yes it said it should be 50% off
Kriszanne Dawn:Wait,
It is still available for today's deals at 34% claimed.
In this case I suggest that you reorder the item and complete the order within 15 minutes for you to avail of the discount.
here is the link for the item in the website http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B000H3VAQ8
Me:Yes but i will still be paying £20.49 won't i? 50% less than £28.79 is £14.40 which is what the price should have been
Kriszanne Dawn:Yes I was able to notice that.
I will try to check on this further. However our main goal here is you place an order for the item so you can avail of the 20.49 GBP price of the item.
not the 28.79 GBP.
Can you please try it? Would you like me to cancel the original order you have placed?
Me:what is 'avail'? you are misunderstanding me. I have paid £20.49, however that is not the correct price!
i have already ordered it at 20.49
Kriszanne Dawn:Oh I am sorry for that,
Yes the total order cost was only 20.49 GBP I was looking at the item price in the order.
Me:ok so can you please investigate what the deal price should have been? because as i understand it, 50% discount from the price of 28.79 should have been 14.40
Kriszanne Dawn:Yes I will try to check on this.
Once I have the information I will explain further.
Will it be okay if I send the updates in a confirmation email afterwards?
Me:yes please, thank you
Kriszanne Dawn:Great. Thank you so much. Is there anything else I can help you with?
Me:no that's all, thank you
