I think the deal for the mop is over but I'm still showing as being on the waitlist...

How shameful of Amazon - the continued daily humiliation of an Olympic hero - Victoria Pendleton's unsold book is BACK  ;)

They should replace it with Pippa Middleton's book ;)

Wasn't a problem for me. I don't know why you changed from a gift certificate, because that's how they apply the discount to the balance!

Because I did not want to pay for a Christmas present for someone else with a gift certificate that was a birthday present for myself! They received serveral other calls whilst I was on the phone complaining about the same problem.

I just ordered the MIB blu ray boxset and when I changed the payment details from gift certificates to a card payment I was charged full price! I spent 20 odd minutes on the phone to Amazon, with a very helpful lady, and she did sort the problem but apparently if you change the way you pay you will be charged full price. They seem to be having some sort of problem with this at the moment.

I had this problem on day 1 and then it happened again on day 2 at which point I spent an hour with them explaining I did click in time etc before they sorted it out. On day 3 I realised what was happening. I wanted to use my card details and not my gift balance because my credit card is doing an offer of 4% off purchases, but I've had to stop doing that now.

Hi that's because the gift certificate is the Black Friday discount. So if you untick the gift certificate you will pay full price.

But if you already have credit you can't separate it from the Black Friday discount.

My bad, didn't understand you already had a gift certificate that wasn't related!
  • Does anyone have any of the NYDJ jeans? My daughter is 5' 8" will they be long enough in the leg for her?

On the grey ankle one's my review is up there! I bought those with Black Friday on Monday. I have 4 pairs of NYDJ and also bought the black skinny on Tuesday. She'll love them. I'm 5'7 and slim, go read my review.

PS. The black skinny are very long, as they should be, grey one's to ankle.
  • There's too many things I want at 8pm.. Wish they'd staggered some of the items
