A slight exaggeration. DVD's are hardly obsolete.
If you are suggesting that everyone will "soon" be digitally downloading movies instead of watching them on DVD then I'm afraid you are a few years too early
Apart from anything else a lot of broadband packages still have download restrictions so most people can't just stream or download everything.
You said it, BlueFox. Not only are there download limits but for many people (like me) the broadband connection is slow and unrealiable - it's a price you pay for living out in the sticks.
There is also the whole hazy issue of ownership of digital products - you don't own anything stored in your itunes account, for example.
There are plenty of people out there still using VHS and audio cassettes and there are people with huge DVD libraries who will be hanging onto them for many years yet.0 -
Still nothing here *taps fingers* :wall:Man who run into airport turn-styles is going to Bangkok
To steal ideas from one person is plagiarism; to steal from many is research0 -

Yep - I live in a large town and our broadband is still unreliable. Streaming movies online is practically impossible, and the prices you pay for extra download speed mean it'd be cheaper to go out and buy the DVD.
I also still own a video player and lots of videos, they're much more durable when you have a busy toddler capable of breaking things!"Why, this is hell, nor am I out of it."0 -
only 13 mins until the game deal expires and still on waiting list.....wish people with it in their basket would hurry up and commit or release.....I can't waste anymore of my life on here!!!0

office job, 37 hours a week, boo.
I work from home. Getting a lot of work done this week. :whistle:0 -
courier just delivered the watch I bought yesterday
Thinking about it, I'm sure the only thing I bought last year was a watch!
So, as pants as some of the stuff on offer is, and as poor as many of the reductions are, I've already found more to spend my money on!0 -

I love Moleskine and this is a great price. I'd be paying about a fiver for a diary anyway! Have passed on the pen though.
I think the reason I haven't gone for it is because it's black and I tend to go for pretty looking diaries, I'd get it if it was red0 -
The painting pencils, very expensive but wow what a present for a grown up ds with artistic tendencies. Went straight on waitlist at `poor` setting but just got offered them so have bought. I did have moleskin but deleted as dh only really needs a filofax refill0

Only post van arrived so far  (girls watch & purse from yesterday and pie funnel that I ordered last week)
I know I said that it would be a miracle for all 3 couriers to turn up today but I was hoping for 1 or 2 at least
They'll probably arrive during the 25 minute time slot that I'm picking up from school. Grrr!* Ebay- 1 Bag a Day *0
