can anyone tell me how you can find out what number you are on the waitlist?

When they get so many people they close the waitlist.

Thanks for this quick reply. I think I wasn't quite understanding the process for these offers thinking it went straight to a wait list. So my next obvious (to me anyway, lol) Q is whther the sale just goes live at the time advertised and I guess usually goes very quickly to waitlist.

When you join the waiting list you will have a pop up, in that pop up it says what number you are on the waiting list and if your chances are poor or good etc..

Hmmm I had no pop up lol want to know where i am instead of sitting here waiting lol should be cooking the kids dinner!!

The item does go live at the time advertised.

If the item is popular...and people claim the 'stock' of the offer then yes it'll quickly go to a waitlist. Then you just wait to see if a box pops up on your amazon screen. if it does then you have 2 mins to click it into your basket. Once in your basket you have a further 15 mins to decide whether to take it or not.

If you miss either of these deadlines then the item goes back into the pile and is offered to someone else on the waiting list.

Yay I bought the fly boots...will see I they fit...fingers crossed...and also one of the lamps...the black one with natural light as it is so good...well the one I have is fabulous...either a present or for us to keep...OH will be delighted to take delivery of more boxes...oops....

I got my mum one last year and she loved it.
I know it appeared twice last year as I managed to grab 2 on different days.

Beans on toast or crisps in front of the TV is standard food for kids during Black Friday week...they will recover!
And love you for it on Christmas Day If You remember to get them some pressies from Amazon!!

The £10 discount voucher for clothes/shoes/watches only applies to selected products. To see if it applies to a Black Friday offer, do the following:

When looking at the product offer, do ctrl-click on the product image - this opens the main product page in a new tab (so you don't mess up the main BF offers display).

If the product is eligible for the £10 offer it will have an extra box on the page saying so, like the one below does.

I too was disappointed the pink Ice watch didn't qualify.
