I've still got two from the last time they were a craze. I know they were quite dear last time around - but £60 ?
Both of mine still work - my little girl (4) wasn't that impressed with them. I wonder what the new ones do compared to the old style ones.?0 -

I am not going to get caught up in this again either! I remember the hamsters a couple of years ago. Had to fight tooth and nail to get two and after Xmas day they were just left on the toy shelf in the bedroom. They're still there now and have not been played with. I remember somewhere online was selling them after Xmas for just a couple of quid! I have three furbies from years ago that still work.0

Daughter has paid interest in similar things......so out come the Tesco vouchers, doubled up....and one free furby obtained. Nothing lost if it doesn't take off.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

All in stock in smyths onlinentoday by the looks of things. Including pink/purple. Goes into basket fine, not saying OOS.
I remember my mum and dad getting me and my sister one when they were the craze first time round. I nearly cried when I didn't get one, before I found a note sending me on a hunt round the entire house, until I found a furby sitting in the pan cupboard. I cried with joy for about 2 hours, quite literally. When I calmed down my dad told me Santa left a note to say he will never ever search for a furby again after flying with reindeer over 50 miles and visiting every toy shop despite being one of the first waves of people to purchase before restocking. Apparently his elves couldn't make this toy because it was incredibly special, and boy did I believe it. I didn't let it out of my sight and taught it English the best I could.

One went into my basket earlier no problem, got to checkout. Just testing. I'd love to get my daughter one but can't warrant the expensive purchase as she's only 3 and I know where it would head. Think I might get my dad in the loft to find my old one, plenty more sentiment there..
Some pretty good prices on ebay for those wanting the pink purple ones. Seen some to £85 yes, but some are barely reaching £50 BNIB, worth a look at all colours on there. Beware of feedback before bidding though and shipping from USA (might take an age). Some people have definitely had the right idea selling for double the price easily. Great profit maker, although taking advantage of poor desperate mr and mrs santas tut tut!!The Year Of DreamsBig Love To All Comp Sharers

I know where you are coming from. Bit like the gogo hamsters a few years back. But if Father Christmas is asked for
one..........................
What annoys me is that Argos are advertising them with 3 for 2 and having gone one available anywhere near me. But they might have some new ones exclusive to them on Tuesday - after the offer is over.
According to the website, new Furby colours exclusively launching at Argos on 14 November.0 -
I had a furby when I was younger and it scared the hell out of me. My brother kept moving it off the shelf, setting it off and putting it by my head.
I chucked the thing away and they even got it out of the bin to torment me!
I'm so glad that my children arent interested in this craze!0
