Just re-read your original post and you might struggle to get a 32 inch LCD under £500 from one of the big brands, however there is a Samsung LE32R74BDX for £531 delivered at BE-Direct.co.uk.
I know this goes against what I said about buying at John Lewis for the 5 year guarantee but I mention this one as it is great value compared to a £450 'Bush' TV from Tesco.0 -
JVC LT-32DR71 for £498 delivered
LG 32LC2D for £509 delivered
Both with built in digital tuners which means you can do away with your external freeview box (or sell it on ebay!)
Both the above are from Sound and Vision who are near Bolton, have an online store and have been going for at least 10 years that I know.
John Lewis also price match their prices if they have the same TV in stock!0 -
Hi
My friend bought a lovely Bush 32" lcd today from Argos, black and silver and cost £399. Only downside is that it didnt come with wall mounting bracket, which is going to cost another £80 if she wants one. Woolworths had a nice one cant rem the make but it was £349 and came with both stand and wall mount bracket ... out of stock until this Thurs in Belfast - but she wouldn't wait until then - they did offer to reserve for her. Might be worth a look for you.Sarah0 -

Our TV blew up, and we had to buy a new one last week (What a week we had!!!). We got a 32" HD LCD with integrated Digital channels. It is a Logik. Bought it from Dixons through their Easter Mega Deals. Easter Mega Deal price £429. Used a £10 discount code, and Egg cashback. Actual cost in end was £399. Thrilled to bits with it so far.0
