I only received 2 emails from Tesco Direct, 1 order confirmation and 1 dispatch notice. There was no receipt with the tablet.

Pretty sure that it says on actual samsung website that Tesco order confirmation email is fine

I too was asked to send a photo of the box showing the serial number. I went OTT and sent a photo of the back and front of the Tablet as well, with the s/n clearly showing.

If anyone is in the same position, then you can circumvent any delay in payment by sending an email to the "help@" email address, with your claim number (if you have it) and the photographs I suggested, as well as the s/n of the product and it should be picked up.

I had the same problem with the Tesco receipt,mine only stated Tablet,I was worried Samsung wouldn't accept this so i took it back to Tesco who scanned it through a different till and my new receipt states SMG tab2 10.1 ..or something similar,only problem is it has delayed my claim,cos the new receipt is dated 9 days later than the original.x

I rang Tesco a few days ago. Was told that everyone who purchased a tablet up to 11 Nov would receive a gift card, though due to being inundated with demand they were running up to 28 days late processing them. Originally they were due by 21 Nov at the latest so now that can be pushed back to 19 Dec latest.
