Hi
As an alternative to paying for a personal trainer I've been looking around online for any great uk health and fitness blogs that I could read on a regular basis for inspiration, tips, new routines that sort of thing.
Does anyone have any they know of / read and could recommend?
Thanks

There are heaps I read - mostly to do with running.
Runners World is a good place to start.
These are some of the blogs I like:
The Fitnessista
Carrots n Cake
Peanut Butter Fingers
Skinny Runner
Fannetastic Food
Well Heeled Runner
Run Stronger Every Day
Some are from the US but I find they still have useful tips you can use!
And a shameless plug for my own blog

Bit late to the party but I've found the blogs by Steve lewington who is a personal trainer at the link below to be interesting, on a variety of different sports/fitness and training subjects.
He posts blogs on a site called explosive nutrition unfortunately I can't link as I'm new.0 -
Thanks for this. I am actually looking to start a decent gym routine and diet over the xmas break rather than chowing down on the usual chocs!Kate Long

I like http://greatist.com its american but don't hold that against it. You can sign up for regular newsletters which I find gives me a bit of a kick at times0
