Got dream job whoop whoop

Hey all

A bit of advice really, I am currently signing on at the job centre

I have just been offered my dream job working in childcare in a ski resort but don't start till 4 weeks (23 days to be exact :) am I best advising jc of this now and giving my start date, am I still entitled to Jsa until I start?

    Do not tell them until day before or they will cut your benefit off and you'll be stranded. Many stories of this happening to others.

    Yes, as above, absolutely do not tell them until the day before you leave.

    This is only the case if the claimant chooses to stop seeking work before their start date. If they continue to do so (and it is advisable, many jobs do fall through), they are still eligible for JSA.

    Thanks everybody, I know didn't think I'd ever find work but just proved its hard but it is possible to get work :) am still applying for ther jobs just in case the job falls through but got it in writing and already got my transport booked through them so hopefully won't happen
