They can't do the job

Well we have a new manager. He seems very knowledgable but I don't know him at all yet. He is always in meetings. We have spoken about an error which he thought was me then when I explained realised that it wasn't my work it was this mans and said it will be looked at and dealt with.
The others won't do anything I doubt. I could ask but if they say no they may speak to him and tell him. I am very much in and out of the offices and I don't feel I have created any good working relationships because everyone I knew well has now gone!
Go and work somewhere else if it's so terrible.0 -
]The Martin they are referring to is Martin Lewis the guy who started this website.
The person posting is part of the forum team who make sure the forums run smoothly. They have chosen to move the thread to a better area of the forum so that the poster can get lots of relevant responses. Very common practice on the forums!!
Hope this helps!
I keep asking the Mods, when they move threads to actually say where they actually move them to..........
It makes me go  I dont honestly know why they dont just say we have moved it to ............... and post a linkmake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -

They do - there is a thread saying 'moved' and if you click on it - it brings you here.If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -
OP it is very important you catalogue things, I am in a similar organisation. If you use Microsoft Outlook start using your task list. Every time you get a new task put it in your task list with a deadline date. If you want to hand a task over to some-one else re-assign using outlook. When a task is completed mark it as completed and put in the number of minutes it took. it feels onerous at first but it pays dividends, things stop falling through the cracks for a start and you can print of your completed task list and show your manager what you have achieved and the time it took. It feels like doing something extra at first but soon plays dividends. If you don't have outloook keep a task list on excel. Good luck.0
