Pomegreat pure plus juice

Be warned about this product!!.
Having read about how good pomegranate juice is, and how healthy it is, I purchased 2 cartons of this, it cost a lot more than ordinary juice.
I was amazed when I looked at the list of ingredients, 33% juice and water.
This has got to be the most expensive water available.:eek:

Water, water everywhere but it's the cost of transporting it that costs money.

The majority of juices are made from a concentrate as it's cheaper to ship in this way.

Taking the water out of fruit juices in the country of origin then putting it back in when it reaches the country where it is finally sold, is a common practice.

If you want fruit juice that isn't made from a concentrate it's available but a higher price that reflects the cost of transporting it in it's natural state.

Of course you could make your own juice from the whole fruit which will have been transported complete with it's own natural water content which often accounts for 60 to 70% of the fruit but doing it this way would make your home made very, very expensive.
