  • Well DS is a sicky baby :(. Have managed to settle him to sleep but had to put the extra duvet under his mattress to raise the end up.
Every time he lies flat he's sick, the last time I had to do this he was a baby and locum GP was reluctant to give him inhalers for a night time cough but regular GP was soon back and we had it sorted in days :)

I really don't know what else to do for him, he's got a bucket, tissues, wipes and a fresh bottle of water. I've given him calpol to keep his temp down, I've left the bathroom light on so he can see where he's going and both bedroom doors open so I can hear if he gets up.
My main problem is that I'm a heavy sleeper, DH used to look after the nighttime sickness as I slept through it I'm just worried that something'll happen and I won't hear him. Other than having him sleep in with me I can't think of anything I've missed.

hope your ds getts better soon

im a heavy sleeper very deep and as soon as i get in to bed i fall asleep my o/h says im lucky lol

im sure if hes sick you will wake as i do

i think its the fact you know hes ill so your mind wont shut down compleatly and you be listening for him also try running cold flannel under tap ring it out and place in head works wonders in this house :D:D

That's what I was thinking too but had a rummage through a box or 7 and couldn't find mine, saying that I last used them 7 years ago so even if I did find them they may not work :rotfl:

SD I'm sure you will manage fine sweetheart, it is strange how instinct kicks in when it is needed so don't worry

When I was on my own with younger boys I was a heavy sleeper but suddenly changed and heard them wjen it was needed.
I hope you have a trouble free night x

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Bit late to say evening everyone, but hey ho, 'Evening Everyone' :D

Not been here for a few days again, only been popping in for the odd lurk as had to deal with family funeral of my Aunt last week. Did a very MSE flower display in a basket from myself and my sisters, and I have to say I was very pleased with it. In no way did it look out of place, in fact I think it put a lot of the other formal ones to shame, no doubt for a fraction of cost. I think it would have really pleased my Aunt as she was a very grow and make your own almost up until the end, keeping 2 allotments going even into her 70's!!!!! Even at the wake (or actually more celebration of her life) there were enough jars of jam and pickle she had made from her own produce in the summer for everyone to take home!!!! So I hope she looked down on my flower display and smiled. :)

Anyway, I just wanted to ask those of you who are awake to do a quick favor..... like we say, it takes a team effort for these glitches....... I am looking again for MT triggers, the York fruits I found lasted a day or 2, and I managed a couple of boxes of them at the time, but my local doesn't have any other trigger, unless they get some other stock in over night.
I have search msm for the following items and none appear as stocked in A's... Lindt Lindor White Chocolate Truffles, Lindt Lindor Extra Dark or Any of the 3 Anthon Berg chocs although all appear on Asda 3 for £10..... This may change in the morning, but I know some people get different search results than others. Any input would be greatly appreciated, especially if it leads to another trigger. :D
I'll check back in the morning...... Night night.

Hi Elsie, nice to see you again. Not sure if the choccy glitch is near ending maybe tomorrow. Check again then, someone will come and let us both know. :D

You've done the opposite of me as I buy far away and sell local.
Best get the train splitting app on the main site here or find the cheapest bus back, and deliver the car to the buyer near where the bus does a pickup. Good luck!
I said £175 to deliver. He's decided to come up by train. Fair enough, but to take a day of work and travel 300 miles and then back, I thought £175 was a good price!

^^^This is great advice, SD. I sleep through helicopter crashes, but when OH is away, or one of the children really need me, I'm up like a rocket. :D

Can someone please tell me how I get refunded for price promise vouchers on an online order. It just says to hand to driver. Thanks
Yes, sorry it took me a while to respond, I was catching up. You simply hand the TPP to the driver. HE will take it back to store where they will scan them and if valid, put the balance back on your card. Hope you stacked your codes for the order!
