  • Rang for a Chinese takeaway - they said it'll be an hour and a half! My belly thinks my throat is cut as it is

You should have said, I'm not long back :p Beef curry (extra spicy), boiled rice, prawn crackers & chopsticks - used them for the first time after some demos by OH. The phone was ringing non-stop as apparently there'd been fireworks there tonight so place was chocablok. I did debate offering my services to deliver but I had 36 assorted mullers to get into the fridge :o

Called into T & A on the way - well it would have been rude not to. The larger Ts in b'gor have been having issues with coupons. Apparently some woman was in during the week and then again tonight with £30 worth of photocopies. Couldn't get any more info out of the SA but she did go off and check my safe coupons were ok though apparently the name on the coupon is meant to match the name of your clubcard

So just to confirm the dairy PV spend:

12 assorted Muller corners & lights
    12 assorted Muller rice
    2 packs of Frubes
    2 Cravendale

    = £13 spend (£21.40 before savings) + 2 petrol vouchers

In hindsight if I'd gotten 2 more Cravendale I could have [STRIKE]1 more petrol voucher[/STRIKE] been carted off to the asylum.

It looks like you don't have enough different items in each shop. 3 mice count as one item etc. You need at least 8 different items not including the trigger. Really have about 10 or 11 to be sure. Hth :)

    Thanks,
do you think I can return them?

Yes you could try returning the chocs and start again :)

I tend to take the hit because they are a good price anyway.

Just say you picked the wrong ones or someone had already got them.

Have a look at others lists that have worked and make sure you get enough fillers to make sure it works.

    :(

I always go for about 10 - the other night the woman couldnt get the chocolate button to scan and put the white mice through twice as they were same price  fortunately I had 10 items in total, as well as 2 milk trays and one trigger (Lily O'Bs).

Example, 1 banana, 1 x apple, 1 x orange, 1 x Asda's own paracetamol (15p) or ibuprofen tablets (28p), 1 flump 10p, 1 tangfastics 10p, 1 white mice 10p, 1 giant button 10p, Asda smart price pack batter mix (7p), 1 smart price mushy peas 8p, 1 x freddo 20p, asda smart price instant noodles chicken flavour 11p, asda smart price instant noodles curry flavour 11p, 1 x asda smart price black pepper 18p, 1 x asda smart price mixed herbs 19p.

You just have to watch it with some of the sweets/chocs as they can fall under 'kiosk' which don't count for comparison purposes. The ones above definitely do compare. HTH
