Evening, was hoping to get one more choccie shop in but not a box of Mt's to be see here in Weymouth:eek: I even asked the kind sa to see if they had any out the back ,but the cupboard was bare n andever mind it was good while it lasted.
Sounds like the ideal home was a nice place to meet fellow mse'ers and so glad Mr Lala got to meet the lovely Neosi;:)
Will say good night to you all early as I am going to settle down to watch children in need (maybe crack open a box of choc's )and no doubt shed a few tears :A

Don't be getting sick of them though, I have a "few" boxes here for Xmas that you've got to munch your way through;)
Hey, i thought my ears were burning last night. :rotfl:

    Hiya, :hello:
You have loads of choices on what to do in Cambridge it just depends on what you fancy.
There are 2 decent shopping centers- the Grand Arcade and the Grafton Center. The botanical gardens are beautiful and always worth a look around especially if the weather is nice or you could take a punt out for a few hours down the river cam. If its cold then they provide blankets to snuggle under. :)You could have a wander around the Fitzwilliam museum if the weather is poop or just go shelter in a pub or restaurant. As nikkilala said the Jamie Oliver restaurant is ok. Its a bit overpriced to me however. If you want a hidden gem the Erania restaurant on Free school lane (just of the Market square in the town center, near jamie's) has the most amazing Greek/Turkish/Mediterranean food ever and you get a massive plate load for a very decent price. :T

Jamies Italian when MrLala is paying;) But might just be trying the Erania when its my turn;):rotfl:

My husband is working away at the moment so I've been on my own during the week.
A minute ago one of my recently divorced neighbours - male and VERY dishy, turned up and said he fancied going out and some female company and was I free?

I was gobsmacked, but thought what the hell, I've been stuck in on my own for days so said yes.

    That's brilliant he said.........................

Would you mind keeping an eye on my kids

    I love that:T:T:T:T

Phew finally sat down..... and breathe!
Well Argos manager couldn't have grovelled more, he was very pleasant and absolutely refreshing to speak to someone so helpful. Immediate refund, staff going to get their !!!'s severely kicked and another gift card for £10 as "compensation" I'm sure I could have wangled more from him but main thing is I wanted the staff retrained and apology. And £40 in total I can live with!

Now to catch up with the apprentice.

Just done a quick T's shop on the way home. Braved 4 GTA. Young SA let a few 4p school items through as well :) and got loads of milk for 5p each! Unfortunately he wouldn't take more than 2 conditional spends and I miscounted my Kleenex coupons thought I only had 2 Andrex but had 4 grrrr!!!!
GRATITUDE WHEN GIVEN, PATIENCE WHEN DENIED

Please press the thanks button when someone has helped!
