DS has an interview at Cambridge uni next month and we are looking to book a couple of rooms in the Premier Inn.
I have never been to Cambridge before, so would like to look around while DS is attending interview & exam, any ideas for what to do or see would be very welcome.
TIA xx
Hiya, :hello:
You have loads of choices on what to do in Cambridge it just depends on what you fancy.
There are 2 decent shopping centers- the Grand Arcade and the Grafton Center. The botanical gardens are beautiful and always worth a look around especially if the weather is nice or you could take a punt out for a few hours down the river cam. If its cold then they provide blankets to snuggle under. :)You could have a wander around the Fitzwilliam museum if the weather is poop or just go shelter in a pub or restaurant. As nikkilala said the Jamie Oliver restaurant is ok. Its a bit overpriced to me however. If you want a hidden gem the Erania restaurant on Free school lane (just of the Market square in the town center, near jamie's) has the most amazing Greek/Turkish/Mediterranean food ever and you get a massive plate load for a very decent price. :TLife is not about learning to avoid the storms - it's about learning to dance in the rain.0 -

Disappointed with my A v S shop. Why don't things compare??
At least my A v T worked.0 -
I should know the answer to this but don't. Do £5 off £40 spends come off first or last if using MOCs and Price Promise vouchers please?
Can you use an As as well as a Ts (assume for that to work you would need £45 and give them before any other vouchers)?
Finally is Lindt gold still working as a trigger for MT?
Many thanks

Hmmmm. I must have done something wrong. I picked up 5 x Muller and it didn't work. Was I meant to buy a certain amount? I know it's probably a school boy error, but I am thick when it comes to shopping!
Is it just the lob, linda, xmas spirits and g and b dark that are triggers now? My local doesn't sell any of those. Boohoo.
Did the below today on self scan, paid with £20, took £3ish change and left £10 note in the machine as it comes out of the bottom. Member of staff shouting and chasing after me and me pelting it full speed thinking "!!!!! he is coming to arrest me". How awkward was that.:eek::eek:

I got a few packs of purple and green cello wrap from the 99p store. 2 big sheets in each pack. I've been making up some hampers with s&g, shampoo, samples etc and using a plastic bowl in the bottom. the purple ones look like giant quality street!
