  • Just wanted to bump DesperateScousewife's post from the old thread, many thanks to them. They said, "Worth checking if your Tesco Pharmacy has any goody bags. I got one today, got a couple of Redbush tea bags, voucher for £1 off £5 spend at pharmacy or healthcare aisle. Also included was a voucher for a free 500ml bottle of Carotino Healthier Cooking Oil. Redeemable instore and worth £2.19." BTW the cooking oil voucher expires on 2nd Dec 2012.

I picked up one of these goody bags today and as well as having the above vouchers and tea bag samples, mine contained a few baby food / product vouchers:

2 x 50p off Ella's Kitchen products - expire 30.06.13 (Redeemable at UK retailers only)
1 x 50p off Metanium Nappy Rash Ointment / Barrier Ointment - expires 01.02.13 (Redeemable at Tesco only)
1 x 25p off Little Dish Chilled Meal - expires 31.12.12 (Redeemable at Tesco only)
1 x 50p off any Plum product - expires 30.04.13 (Doesn't state where you redeem it, presuming any stockist)

    HTH someone :):):)

Afternooneveryone - anyone else having problem with tiscali/tinyworld email access?
(Edit for some reason after clicking save and posting a lot of the words joined up - and I did proof read - probably cos I copied and pasted - so amended and much better to read now)

Have you tried sending an email to your tinyworld email address to see if it bounces (account is deactivated)?

    It's only a game

I know this thread is all about saving money and that is what brings us all together on here. But Ive given something away today and i'm giving some more tonight for that great cause Children In Need... I baked oven loads of muffins for the school to sell and i shall be donating some money tonight. I'm sure I'll be joined by many on this thread.
If youve done something special for Children In Need, please tell us as it will give a community feel to the thread...as long as its to do with moneysaving that is..right ;)

Greetings newbie you've got the hang of things quickly 7 posts today and one deleted before I had time to respond, took me forever to learn all the bells and whistles on the thread still many features I havent mastered yet

    Afternoon all
Was that cellophane I hear miss laid? Drat I went into Lidl yesterday looking for the perfume you all rave about :(

Well not properly caught up and are there deleted posts? I hope the bickering wasn't about my Argos problem? :(

Just to update you I finally sent my email to the CEO this afternoon after work. Within 5 minutes of sending the email I had a telephone call from the Director's Office. An extremely apologetic representative who said within the first sentence how sorry he was for the experience and that he would send a full refund plus £30 gift card as an apology. Stuck to my guns and insisted on cash refund only ( thanks aau) questioned whether he would be contacting the store for retraining the staff. He said a complaint had been logged but he couldn't override the stores decision!!! Advised him I really would have liked an apology from the store manager and the staff training addressed. He rang the store and rang back immediately and said the store manager hadn't in fact been aware of the situation and would happily see me in store for a full refund and a chat.

Pleased with the outcome. Many thanks to you guys even Locarr xxx

    Feeling rather emotional today
Donated quite a few ( ok a lot blushes) of glitched goods past and present for a tombola at work. Included body shop gift sets, sanctuary gift set, plus hampers of various hair bits from asda glitch, soaps and shower gels from body shop glitches, molk tesys, LOB, fingers and sweet hampers ( famous filler sweets and purple one bars lol) I think there were over 30 items and we raised over £100, not much but my staff are all skint and I would have been pleased with less if only to see the happy smiles on their faces. So pleased to have the opportunity and its all thanks to you guys on here.

Truly this thread is amazing at it's best -sending hugs to everyone .....yes even you Locarr x :)

Hello, You can do a new APG check for each new lot of shopping you do as long as you buy more than 8 things that qualify. What you pay for it with is irrelevant to the APG system, so yes! Isn't is great using one APG to get more shopping to get another APG! I believe this is called 'rinsing and repeating' on here! And don't forget from Sunday A are giving the 5.00 bonus vouchers too when you spend 40.00 and do an APG check, and Tescos accept these too. Love it!

Emily Rachel - I know some have used apg in tesco and some not. Has this mainly been with over £40 spends? Anyone tried for less?

I have mislaid my last £5 off asda voucher, and yesterday's pp results have come in to my now locked email accout:o but may be able to use apg on my next shop - it will make up for lost price promises - I don't need any more choccy! It will prob be for £20 ish shop - have you tried it ..Thanks

Shoot me if I'm wrong but I thought it was from the 19th (Monday). Existing £5 off expire on the 18th(Sunday) Makes sure you can't start the new campaign off with £5 off. Hope you are right though:)
hi artha! I am sure you are right. This is what the asda supervisor told me yesterday, but we had already established by then just how little she knew about their own promotions! I should have checked my facts before posting. Sorry!:o

Please tell more on the home made cheese straws :D

I just make puff pastry roll it out (use ready made if you cant make pastry), add a large pinch cayenne pepper and around 2 small handfuls of extra mature cheddar then i fold and roll again 4 times, cut into straws and sprinkle with red Leicester and parmesan, bake until golden :)

If you need exact recipe I'm sure google will provide lol I'm a throw it all in kinda cook.
