Does anyone know or has anybody tried to use an A's £5 off £40 CS and a T's £5 off £40 CS together at Mr T's?
    TIA
Tried, yes. Failed, yes. Only one of the 5 off ( either A or T ) in T's but not one of each. You can however use a 3 wys 20, or 4 when you spend 40 or ..9 when you spend 60 too. Like the ones you got with your clubcard post. :) There will always be exceptions though, as it depends on cashier.

well update is :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: at argos

CS rung the store who said they suspect the watch (which is not the faulty item) is more than the 2 weeks old after inspection, What the??:eek::eek::eek::eek:

Had a polite rant at CS, firstly it isn't I have proof of purchase, further to accuse me of this is even worse than my original. Secondly even if it theoretically was older the items are covered by a warranty for a year so my statutory rights are still not affected. I am still entitled to a refund.

CS was confused to say the least, she added "store said they usually cross check signatures with Debit cards" after previously telling me herself it wasn't policy. She seemed to be totally dictated to by the store and incapable of making her own decision, complete opposite experience of Tesco Cs who override and deal with their staff and training issues.

after 4 phone calls to the store (each one after me making valid counter arguments to the bull she was coming out with) I advised her she obviously couldn't help at all and I didn't need a go between to retell me what the store had already decided. Told her I would write in. 20 minutes later she phoned up to say she should have just offered me a giftcard for the refund of the original amount but the complaint would still hold.:(:(

I accepted but in retrospect wouldn't have, just worried I am stuck with a broken stopwatch.

    shoddy customer service:(

Just read the rest of your post.

The bold part is male cow excrement. They are obliged by law to refund you by the original method of payment i.e. cash, credit card

    Evening all

Just working my way backwards to catch up but thought I would post about my Mr T problem today.

Got 2 different lots of Andrex plus 8 fillers. Used 2 of my £3 KC vouchers. Guy putting stuff through till was busy chatting to the person behind me in the queue. He muttered something when putting my 3 sprouts though, then again on the Maoams bar. I paid my bill, got my fuel voucher and then he put through my second shop with squash x2 plus 8 fillers. Again, he muttered something when he got to the sprouts. Paid the bill, got my voucher and off I toddled to the car.

When in car I looked at receipts. On first shop he hadn't put through the sprouts or Maoam bar, on second shop he hadn't put the sprouts through.

So I now only have 7 items on the Andrex shop so no hope of a PP (unless by some miracle it counts the 2 different types of andrex as 2 items). The second shop had 8 fillers, so without the sprouts it just has enough items to get a PP.

I guess he didn't bother weighing the sprouts as there were so few of them. No idea why he didn't scan the maoam bar. But in thinking he was doing me a favour, he turned me into a shoplifter and messed up one of my PP's :(

So glad I used the KC vouchers so at least I haven't lost out too badly.

after showing off about my shop above, just found another one of my shops is down on items as well so no pp, i think it was a similar problem to yours, SA's were getting fed up of weighing single sprouts etc lol, oh well :o

Tbh I would not do it all in one go, I would also try split between cards. I used a £5/£40 with mine too. Mailings should also be early near Christmas. Finishes 18/11/2012
