My local store last night, was completely empty of MT, I had the last 2 choc fingers and a few boxes of LOB.

Off topic, think I have persuaded OH to get a dog, now just to decide what, I would like a golden retriever or labrador, always loved and wanted either of these. OH thinks they are too big and would like something smaller, ie king charles cavalier?? What are peoples opinions on any of these dogs.

Im on a mission today to use as many eggs up as possible. My chickens have been very generous the last few weeks and I've got more eggs than I know what to do with. Im going to make pasta and attempt to make carbonara sauce from scratch.....should be interesting with my limited cooking skills:cool:

I Pickled a massive jar of them last night for OH. I personally think pickled eggs are  but he seems to like them

must be lovely having fresh eggs every day :) They taste so much better than shop bought. I'd love to keep chickens, but they wouldn't last 5 minutes with my cats!

Nice to hear from you Logie. Try not to wear yourself out too much x

Tiger I hope Tigercub feels better soon. You have a lot on your plate at the mo too

    Hugs to you both:A
  • Have you tried this yet? Sometimes these tings are input manually.

Not yet, only just printed mine but it depends on your checkout assistant and how much other shopping you buy at the same time.
The clue that it will actually scan at £2.59 is in the last 4 digits of the barcode on the coupon - 2592 - discount the last digit and the 259 is the value it will scan at.
  • Hi,is there anyway of finding out when this ends?
    I can`t find any dates on Asda.com
Tesco pick up their asda prices from asda.com. At mo all of these below are showing at £3 on asda.com. I bought the top one in NI yesterday and gave a nice pp. It is not the msm price that you should be watching.

I meant to ask for information on where she was etc in the pm I sent but thought she might no see it so posted it here aswell. Point taken.
Re asking for help last January OH travelled to Switzerland in his vw van and broke down 60 miles away from my sisters house in a storm on a French motorway. My sis was away in South America so could not help. He has to be rescued by French recovery ( at a cost!!) and was towed to a garage about 2 miles from my sister in France.
I posted on the VW forum that night about his plight and a lovely young chap responded. He lived about 20 miles away from where OH was and the next day drove down in his own van and helped OH tow it to another garage that my sister recommended ( and then back again when the garage would not help).
OH was there for 2 weeks waiting for garage to give him the verdict and it was a new engine was needed. His new friend , who is an aircraft engineer, advised him differently and even helped to meet the recovery lorry after OH had come home.
We went on hols in September and met up with him and we took him and his wife out for dinner. He is now my sister;s personal mechanic and a good friend.

That's lovely, rose. Overall, I think that most people are nice.

    Morning all.
Have a good day everyone :)
    Hi Budgie

We are also huge Only Fools fans and Jolly Boys Outing is our favourite too :) Every now and then we get the boxed set out and start from the beginning.

Also agree about the Groovey Gang....Here we go here we go here we go!!! Classic :D:D

Another series we adore is Auf Wiedersehen Pet. Hubby and son are word perfect on that one.
They are planning on taking a tour of British Locations next year....sad or what!!
I visited Highclere Castle (Downton Abbey) and Bampton (Village Scenes) earlier this year though, so can't say too much ;)

The later stuff we like is Phoenix Nights, Worst Week of my Life, (that's brilliant if you've not seen it) and Gavin and Stacey (word perfect on that one too)

    can't beat a good British Comedy...:D

Pleased to hear about you dad.....sounds very encouraging

Thanks Purdy and yes it is encouraging re: Dad. :) Glad there are more Only Fools fans but Budgie did used to enjoy Auf Wiedersehen Pet too. Have to say Oz could do a good tune bless him. Hope you have a good day. xxx
