  • Are Tes giving out PPs at the till (same idea as the Sains Brand Match) all over the UK or is it just here in NI? Maybe they are just trying it out here for now as I see people on here are still talking about waiting for them to come through. I did some shopping in Tes at the weekend and the guy in front of me got one back straight away for a few quid - mine was 2p cheaper in Tes! They only compare to As and Sains (which is what makes me think it is only in NI for now) but it's much handier to get it at the till rather than having to wait. Anyone else seen this?

Thanks 3 dogs - feeling like I'm coming to the end of tunnel. Beginning to have a bit more energy but taking it steady - can't get used to suddenly running out of battery juice. I've managed to avoid chemo brain til now and keep geting my words fuddled which amuses the kids no end - cant wait for that to disappear. Ha ha when I do have a bit of energy have been doing a sortie for chocs etc ..:rotfl: I'm hoping radiotherapy not as bad as chemo and have aloe vera gel and moisturising cream ready and enticement of going past the main supermarkets! I know that other people here have worse to bear.....

Haven't started radio yet but already got the fitness to work questionaire from the job centre on Sat eek - tricky to answer as I don't know when I'll get my energy back (anything from 2-6 months is what advised before but I wonder if DWP medics have same view Hey ho will let you all know). Seeing as my 'career' disappeared it will mean retraining completely so don't want to commit to that until I know I have energy to complete.

Hi Morgy x x sorry to hear you have been unwell...I have just finished a 6 week daily course of radio therapy and I can tell you what you went through with chemo was much worse than radio .......some people react differently to it and luckily I was one of the ones who suffered very little tiredness at all x x fingers crossed you will feel the same x x good luck x x

I'll put it in the microwave for 10 mins and then in the oven on about 180 degrees for about 30 mins to crisp it up. Do you think this is the best way, or does anyone else have a better way? :)
We have one of those combination microwave/grill/fan oven things that cook wonderful jackets. We wash the potatoes and then rub a small amount of olive oil and salt into the skin and then !!!!! the spuds. It goes in on an auto sense jacket potato programme and takes about 15-25 mins depending on the size and number of potatoes. Well done inside and crispy on the outside:)

EDIT Noticed that the censor has blanked out a word that means to take a fork and press the spines into the potato
    Awaiting a new sig
