    Good morning Elite :)

Have just caught up as I fell asleep with my DD after my tablet battery went flat last night.

I always said to myself that I wouldn't use the ignore button and just scroll past the posts that I didn't like or agree with. However on Sunday night I had stomached enough and started to use it. Maybe this is why it didn't come as so much of a surprise when last night happened. I was shocked by the extent as to how low people can go for their 'kicks' though.

I started as a lurker about 4 threads back until I built the courage to post. Someone recognised my name from the coupon thread and so welcomed me and since then I feel like it has become a place to share ideas, money save AND talk about life in general.

Anyway I am not (hopefully) going to mention the events again as like someone said the Elite is like a weeble. We have been pushed down, but we have bounced back.

I hate seeing one magpie on it's own! I salute and say good morning to it.......I have no idea where that superstition came from!

I find myself looking into people's trollys of late, totaling up what their apg might be! I had to hold my tongue the other week when the guy in the queue in front of me had several good apg items and then when the SA asked if he wanted his receipt, he said no! I was 'gimmie, gimmie, gimmie' in my head!

Going to get some more chocs tomorrow if it's still working. Will just be for those really as I don't have any £5 off £40 left.

    Have a great day all x :)
:D Coupons = the only money we can legally print for ourselves:D

:j A coupon for a free item that is price glitched in Mr T's to be cheaper than Sada for an apg = HEAVEN :j

    :money: total = £47.48 cc = 413 selling stuff = £23.00 Floor pennies = £5.79

Well said purdy. Now wait for the denials 'it weren't me guv', 'don't know what you're talking about', 'you've faked it' etc etc, lol. Perhaps now the cat is out of the bag as it were (sorry, lol) peeps will see that the oldie elite are not the bad guys.

Hope that you are referring to the length of time on here and not our age.;)

Well hello everyone... it's been a loooooong time since I posted on here.... wonder if anyone remembers me?

I hope all is well and I have gone back a few pages and noticed some of the old school lot... great to see your still here. X x

Now down to business.... what is glitching and cheaper? I'm off on a hunt today to find us all a new bargain as I have been away for soooo long... so a step in the right direction would be super. X x

    Great to be back. X

Welcome back  can we see an up to date photo of Phoebe, I thought that baby would never be born, she must be quite grown up now

David we have little local, independant retailers here who will price match the internet suppliers- consider that cos they give superb immediate service.

We have the same here Patty. I have used them a few times, price matched anything I've found on the net and if they had it in stock delivered straight away...free as well. I bought my washer and dryer from them last year and cooker the year before. Keeps local business going as well

David, just as a size guide, my Indesit IWC6165 tucks nicely undernearth my worktop and does not stick out at all, and I don't think it is particularly wide - if you look up the size of that you might have a reasonable guide.
The one my DW wanted was 60cm deep, well from waste pipe to edge of workbench is about 53.5cm there are plenty that size it must have been the 8kg load I am guessing.7kg seems shallower

Agreed, I for one found Henlans lists invaluable during the "rice pudding" era.
