    I saw a magpie 'grab a quick takeaway' a few years ago. It was a whole nest full of cheeping nestlings. Clever, but YUK! Don't know if crows do this too. Cookoos could be said to steal a nest, as they plant their egg there and leave it for others to hatch and feed, and this cookoo chick then heaves any other chicks out of the nest. Suppose it depends on definition of stealing, but I would say magpie.

    Where I used to work my office window used to look out over a "controlled wilderness" in the middle of an industrial complex. Used to regularly see magpies building nests, hatching chicks and then only to have them taken by crows.

    Out all day at two hospitals :(

    All caught up now sort of had to miss out a big chunk but I caught some v. interesting posts wish I could have seen the address where the square screenshots came from.

    Only thing I have to add on the subject was I'm not at all surprised as it happened on another forum I used to belong to something else they used to do was start an I.D. and then share it so one day person one would post and couldnt spell, next day person 2 would post and long words would be used, etc etc anyway hopefully this will all stop now.

    Thanks Purdita :beer:
    Hope all goes well tomorrow Lily

    Thanks for all the lovely pet pics folks

    Past my bedtime just off to read about what the mad boys got up to last night at the Music Awards

    Goodnight graveyard shift

  • I mentioned this at lunchtime that it was now N/A on MSM. I'd bought it last night after finally finding some and got my APG fine as it was still showing as 20p last night but checked this morning and it was N/A. Then when catching up with all the previous pages I saw savingbabs had mentioned it around 8am this morning too. Sorry you didn't see it before buying :(
    ´:)That's OK. I was out this morning, but managed to buy it about 12.30 and just squeezed under the net when I came home and entered receipt, so got it comparing fine thanks! It has always come up as N/A for me on msm, signed in or not, but then so does S&G, and that works fine. But After I had printed out my APG the price of 20p changed to N/A before my eyes... as you already know. Thank goodness I printed straight away.:)
    I am not young enough to know everything.

    Phew, ive read throught hundreds of posts and dont think im any the wiser...... Ive got a couple of q's for all you experts, please excuse my in experience & would appreciate as simple answers as possible.

    Im keen to do a choc shop in A's, i think i may be totally missing the point here.. from what i understand,

    a/ U have to buy a 'trigger' (from the list already mentioned in other posts, york fruits, vinnies, thorntons etc)
    b/ Buy fillers 8-9 recomended from lists
    c/ Buy MT or Fingers etc

    So for example, if i went to A's now and bought;
    2xMT = £14
    8-9 fillers = £2 (approx)
    1x thorntons christmas collection = £5

    1. Am i correct in thinking the apg would give me a coupon for approximately £8?
    2. Do people then 'return' the chocolates and keep the voucher? (In which case they have made £8 from the shop)
    3. If not, then what is the point in going out and buying MT's etc from A's if you can get them cheaper anyway in S's?
    4. Any other advice on how this is beneficial and where i can save money or get choccies :)

    As stated before, please excuse my lack of understanding as theres lots of people doing the choc shops and i know there must be more benefit in it than what i can make of it...

    2xMT = £14
    1x thorntons christmas collection = £5
    (these three are part of a three for £10 promotion)
    8-9 fillers = £2 (approx) - correct.
    total spend £12 , APG voucher back = around £8.5+
    If you try really hard you should get 7 fillers for less than a quid.
    So £11 less £8.50 = three chocks for £2.50
