  • I'm 28 and lost my wonderful nanna whilst pregnant with my DD. She had senile dementia and parkinsons for years and it was so painful watching her change. Our family looked after her for as long as they could but she began stripping in public and trying to open the car door on motorways. She went into a hospital home type place and I flew over to visit when I could. I always found small comfort in that she always remembered who I was. She thought her own children were completely different people so oddly that helped me. She was a proud woman and would have hated it if she knew how she had changed. I completely sympathise with how awful this is for you and am always here to listen. :grouphug:

LAST time i went to visit i was politly asked to go see the manager (my nan was screaming that i was there to take her way to hurt he and all the other recidents were getting upset so i had chat with her and cried all way home and my o/h then listen all nite blesh him but i was distraught its so frightening

sorry for the moan but im home alown for few nites
o/h is away in a new asda doing all the eletrics (he txt to say theres no food there :rotfl::rotfl:

i was getting ready with list:eek::rotfl:

    Evening everyone.....
    I'm a happy shopper tonight :j:j:j

Sada today, and a shiney new chrimbo isle!!!! But ha ha, someone had only filled the 3 for £10 MT section with the 200g boxes.

Asked a lovely male SA who was filling bits in the choccy isle, and he said oh, I think we do have some, went out back for a rummage, and returned with a cardboard 6 box, already opened, with 3 left in it. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
So he said do you want all 3? I said no thanks, 2 will do, i'll get something else in the offer.:D;)

    Heres my results..... A v's S

    1 x ASDA White Potatoes (2.5Kg) £1.65 £1.65
    2 x Robinsons Apple & Blackcurrant Fruit Squash (1L) £2.78 £2.00
    1 x Silver Spoon Granulated Sugar (2Kg) £1.74 N/A
    1 x Barratt Flumps Mallow Twists £0.10 £0.10
    1 x Chewits Xtremely Sour Apple (6 per pack - 30g) £0.32 N/A
    2 x Haribo Tangfastics Mini £0.20 £0.20
    2 x Cadbury Milk Tray (400g) £14.00 £6.00
    1 x ASDA Smartprice Rice Pudding (400g) £0.12 £0.12
1 x ASDA Chosen by You Giant White Mice Bar (15g) £0.10 N/A
1 x ASDA Chosen by You Giant Rainbow Buttons Bar (15g) £0.10 N/A
    2 x Fairy Washing up Liquid Lemon (870ml) £4.50 £3.00

Comparison total (compared products only) £23.35 £13.07

Of course my filler was York Fruits :T

Now all I have to do is use the £11+ APG..... I thought i'd picked a decent looking SA earlier at the tills, but she spent ages srutinising my receipt..... and it was only for just over £2.50
Not many of our tills seem to be 'MANned' by nice young students! :p

Now back to A's to see if anyone is about giving away the Razors! Catch you all later.
