I think it's quite funny but I would not be happy if I was having the wool pulled over my eyes by the OH.

You might find after the Heinz TK runs out and you start with the sneaky value stuff he rumbles you. I think I could tell the difference.

I remember many years ago one of our friends said they would only drink tetley tea so we gave him the tetley challenge, we made him two cups of "tea", one cup was made with tetley, two sugars and milk, the other cup was the same except we "forgot" to use a teabag (oops) so hot water milk and sugar.

He took the test blindfolded and (yep you've guessed it) picked the hot water milk and sugar as DEFINATELY tetley, 100%.

Off with the blindfold and cue much rolling about laughing. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hahahaha.. I love this! My DH wont drink Decaff. He is always protesting against it. I've on several occasions made him decaf and he can't tell the difference! I love it! :D

What a fantastic idea. I personally will not be saying anything more on this.

    Night nite all.

My mum (82) refused to go to the shops with me a couple of months ago as she had seen 1 magpie in the back garden and it was bad luck, I said you daft b***** if you'd seen 3 or 4 would you have thought you were pregnant???? Her face!!!!!:rotfl:

:rotfl: :rotfl::rotfl: sorry but that has made my night. Imagine that at 82 :eek:

Splinter groups always seem to go tits up

I think its like inbreeding - without new blood everyone soon goes a bit bonkers

Live and let live, remember your manners, accept its only a forum and for some people, get a real life/job/hobby or whatever else will put this back into perspective for you

I don't really know the back story or 'get' the various sides but if anyone gets to the point in life where their sole aim is to be destructive on t'internet they need to look in the mirror and have a rethink

For genuine people who enjoy the cyber company and support of others as well as having an underlying unifying purpose, I say stick with it.

Well said, and I think its time for this timely reminder.. we can all learn a lot from this song........

  • I for one know this thread saved at least my sanity when my OH was in hospital at risk of losing his leg. A lot of us use this thread to vent and to help others. It would be really nice if we could just go back to the old ways.
