buy 6 bottles of coke/diet coke/coke zero/dr pepper/sprite/fanta
should show as £10.50 on apg against £6 at M. £4.50 + 10% back, only paid £6. (depending on if bottles are £1 in A's, and if M prices are updated, but should be.)
hope that makes sense, maybe someone else can work out effective cost per bottle, as 10% muddles me up, but I worked it out to be 6 for £1.50 ish.
I will be trying this later, as we drink it anyway, but it will be very late so if someone else wants to try it?
Sorry my mistake, you were comparing to M not w. If this works should show as £3.50 compared to £2 therfore making most varieties £1.80 for 2 except coke zero (cost £2, shows as £3.50) would only work out as having paid 30p?? Somebody care to confirm please?0 -
that was lucky
as i said earlier i reckon memo hasn't filtered through to all stores yet ( my store has been ok up until saturday)either that or they aren't reading it.

Noticed your comment on the coven..we would be delighted to have you as an honorary member..some of us have met up already but I think we may plan a Christmas meet up ( along with the warlocks ) would be great to do it at a time you're heading up north
:j:j:j had to laugh at coven :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: not sure where the name came from? I am already looking forward to it :T:T:TGood afternoon everybody. I have been absent for a couple of weeks as I have been staying with my mum. She had an accident when getting off a bus and hurt her legs a while ago and wasnt coping on her own. Couponqueen123 was very helpful to me during that time and gave me some good advice. Well just an update for her really, mum, in her infinite wisdom has decided she doesn't need to go into a home now as she is much better! 86yrs of age living on her own in an upstairs flat but she has got her mojo back and is strong as ever. She was a little nervous for a while when going out but seems back to her old self.
Anyhow, I was going to attempt to catch up on the thread (no internet access at mums) but I think it would be a mammoth task. I did ask hubby to keep me posted on the goings on but he said keeping up with the competitions I do was quite enough without glitches as well :rotfl:.
I can see the choccies are still working so I might have a little go tomorrow once I have caught up with everything housework/washing/ironing.
I can't believe my cat, Beefy Boy, is giving me the 'I'm not sure I know you' look. He turned his back on me last night when I got back and is totally ignoring me today.
Anyway, this is a long post so will say bye for now and will try to pop in later or tomorrow. I have to say I am glad to be backx
Ahh that is cats for you - if I remember correctly you managed to show us Beefy Boy - I am sure you will be back in favour soon.0 -

Nice result from a womble (£4.35!). It looks to me like they have mixed and matched the wrong batteries.
The Sanex gives a nice result and might be of use someone on an AvS shop.

HAve decided not to read back today, looks a little iffy.
Don't think this has been answered yet? If I am trying to kill ANYTHING I use Jeyes Fluid!! Bleeches the life out of anything, do not put down if any pets or kids can get to it. I even use it to kill sycamore saplings!! Can't see silverfish standing in it's way. It also has the advantage that it will go through small gaps.
Tanku, not sure of Jeyes as DD is only 2 but tanku for the helpMay: Make £5 a day £115.38 / £155

Have just checked my receipt from this morning, I actually paid £2 for 2 bottles but shows up as £3.50 compared to £2.50 in M. Think this makes it about 75p for 2 bottles.
Sorry took a while but my shop was compared to w so didnt think to look at M until nictrinwyn brought it to my attention that it was on offer in M so pulled out my recepit to check and confirm0
