  • what has gone on this morning with spendthriftsuzy has only highlighted how much this thread has changed.

if taken at face value she made a rookie mistake but her heart was in the right place as she seemed to be trying to stop others from making a costly mistake, can you imagine how she must be feeling now:(
If a collective had made this comment they would have felt the wrath of one of the fanclub.

are these the terms that are now being used?

i'm glad to not be part of the collective if this is the way in which they treat people, it's much better to make your own judgements and be guided by your conscience than to follow others blindly,
as for your opposites being called a fanclub... is this truly the only insult you can collectively come up with for anyone who doesn't agree with the bullying tactics used all too often now.
to stand up and say you disagree with how a person is being treated is not the same as saying you agree with them, or that you like what they post.
no matter how unpopular that speaking out makes you, it's simply called doing the right thing
mmm..... these strawberries make my breath happy mum ds

On a strand of pure silver, I'll welcome each day

My daughter's favourite was the "Maybe Baby" by Benefit. When they stopped selling it in the UK I had to scour the internet looking for supplies. I managed to get some giftsets from Debenhams with the perfume and bodycream and bought the last 4 sets. She only has one set left now. So if anyone sees any or a good copy please let me know. Thank you.

Have just typed it into Google and Debenhams are doing it again. Maybe its a Christmas thing. Off to order some now before they sell out.

I have always thought that LAMB by Gwen Stefani was a very similar scent to Maybe Baby - it is lovely - maybe a bit stronger but certainly similar

(((HUGS))) to CouponQueen123. Lovely to hear your Mum has that fighting spirit at her age justmaz :j :j
Thank you 3Dogs. I just hope she has passed her genes on to me :D. She makes me laugh, bless her, she won't go out without her 'slap' on and goes to the hairdressers every Friday for a shampoo and set. It broke my heart when she had the accident getting off the bus the other week and said to me that she thought it was time to go into a home. It really unsettled her and made her nervous about going out. Thankfully she is back to her old self. I am so proud of her x

  • BAD NEWS i'm afraid

i was trouted on saturday in asda trying to use a coupon so decided to follow it up

rang store involved and they insisted that asdas new policy was to except no printable/internet coupons

not happy so rang HO number 08009520101

spoke to lovely chap who thought policy hadn't changed and rang store for me whilst i was still on phone

store customer service manager insisted no coupons and says its a national policy.

back to me i say seems strange not to inform him & other phone staff as if i hadn't asked him to phone through he would have just misinformed me
so off he goes to speak to a more senior staff member & duty manager.

    HERES THE BAD NEWS
they are adament/100% sure this is asdas new nationwide coupon policy
NO printable/internet coupons what so ever will be excepted
(this is due to the high number of fraudulant coupons they have been getting through i.e ones sold on ebay)

their suggestion is to contact companies instead and get them to post coupons out to you

lets just hope other stores don't follow suit

I spoke to ho cs last week and they said that internet coupons were fine if they were item specific. The ones they've put a hold on are the non-item specific ones e.g the kimberly clarke ones etc, think aau got the same response as me too. x
:D Coupons = the only money we can legally print for ourselves:D

:j A coupon for a free item that is price glitched in Mr T's to be cheaper than Sada for an apg = HEAVEN :j

    :money: total = £47.48 cc = 413 selling stuff = £23.00 Floor pennies = £5.79

Thanks for this but have managed to find some at Debenhams.
She tried a spray of the Gwen Steffani Lamb when it first came out but it gave her a rash on her wrist. She has a few allergies so we usually try before we buy. Thanks again.
