  • Why are people posting pictures of cats? I've reported those posts. This is a forum about money saving. Please try to keep on topic. Thank you.

Jerryjerryjerry. You appear to be under a delusion that this is simply a money saving thread, perhaps you should read page 1. Where it states the purpose of the thread

"THE FOLLOWING IS COPIED FROM ORIGINAL FIRST POST ON PREVIOUS THREAD

This is yet another bargain/glitch/DTD/JTD/misprice thread!

We know it's in the 'Gone But Not Forgotten' section!

We know there are at least 2 other threads in which we could post!

Yes, we do talk a lot!

No, not all of what we say is Tesco related or even of interest to many others but this is the way this thread has formed.

Many of us want to discuss the various deals to be had but this was not appreciated on the main Grabbit forum. As such, we now use this thread to talk about anything from how to cook a baked potato to how to get 1p or 4p items through self-scan as quickly as possible. We also discuss ex-husbands and wives, kids and animals. If you have a medical problem we'll nag you until you go to the Doctor. If you're not feeling well we'll provide support, a wee hot drink and whatever chocolate is currently glitching to cheer you up."

If you find this boring, inappropriate or not to your liking then you have the choice to simply not comment or to set up your own thread.
May I suggest you entitle it G.L.I.T.C.H an acronym for Goading, Loathsome Individual That Creates Havoc.

Its probably quicker to get to the island than it is to north wales from here

Oddly enough I spent 10 weeks on the south of Crete and don;t recall the island lol. Was a long time ago though.

Do you mean the Strictly results show.
The x factor results are definitely live as the voting doesn't close till tonight.
  • No we rescued them last May from our local retired greyhound trust. They have just turned 3 and were too slow to race. I think they are from Ireland actually. We recently had trouble with our boy Michael and the vets x-rayed his foot and noticed he had broken his back outside toe and it had healed itself in a very awkward position so probably why he was too slow. They sleep 20 hours each day and only need 2 x 20 mins walk and are so good with the children just a shame they don't like other dogs x

Aweee they are lovely and they have clearly found a great home at your place:)

Thanks. Hope that whatever you were fixing is ok.
No the washer is propped up on a 45% angle as drum has water in it and leaking. Had enough of it so left it there:rotfl:
Will be getting/ordering a new one tomorrow.

Hiya hun. It's little Molly and she is getting better, though still got a hacking cough - definitely more herself now though. Mind you, I think she has passed it on to me. I had a sore troat yesterday and my glands in neck and under jaw were swollen. When I picked my Sis up from train, my voice was going, and it got worse as the evening went by. This morning I am the same plus have a chesty cough and right now feeling a little feverish and achey :(

When I went to bed, my Sis and I sharing my king size bed, I left the dogs with run on hall, kitchen and sitting room, hoping that they would settle. They normally sleep with me, but didn't feel that I could subject my Sis to sleeping with them, especially as she isn't a doggie person, she has always had cats  But they wouldn't settle so I ended up getting up and, rather than pulling out the sofa bed, I just slept on the sofa with Bess behind my legs and Molly curled up on top of me :rotfl: :rotfl: Slept through to about 7am, when I strained my knee and couldn't move it for the exruciating pain  Eased it off and then felt cramp starting in my legs, so put the dogs' fleece which is normally over the sofa, over my legs and had another hour's sleep

My Sis got up at 8.15 and we just sat having coffee and chatting for a couple of hours, before getting ready and going down to the car boot. Muddy but it was nice and sunny so not bad walking round, and we had our breakfast there. When we got back, we cleared out the bathroom ready for the workman coming tomorrow to start ripping it all out to convert to a wet room :j Not bad for a priority order put through in April with a promise of being done as an emergency within one month due to Mr 3Dogs urgent need

I think that there will be a few embarrassed faces tomorrow - Alan will have the last laugh.:T:T:T:T
  • Lovely post Forest - I love dogs (and cats) and the trust does a fantastic job rescuing dogs and rehoming them. The dogs have had such a hard time of it its lovely to hear such a happy ending for your dogs

I know we keep going on the website and looking at all the others that are still there. We couldn't afford anymore to be honest but glad we got them both they are brother and sister and cuddle up all the time xx
I have come home to find my husband lying down on the sofa with one of them in his arms and both sound asleep x
