    Hi all,

Just a little update from me

Haematologist yesterday explained CT scan showed that there is actually more than one mass which would once again tie in with a lymphoma, unfortunately affecting more than one lymph node :(

One of them is pressing against a blood vessel so as of tomorrow i'm starting on blood thinning injections and steroids to help and try and prevent a blood clot and reduce some of the swelling. At least it feels as if we are doing a little something to help whilst we wait for a proper diagnosis.

This morning I had the lung biopsy. It wasn't a pleasant experience but I couldn't fault my care and thankfully all went to plan and they managed to get some good samples for testing. I got home this afternoon after being observed for a while and now just feel a bit tired, battered and bruised. Will take 7-10 days for results as they have to send the samples off to a different hospital. We're hoping for the best but expecting the worst.

Our friends and family have rallied round and we are lucky to have lots of support and offers of practical help :) After a busy week I'm looking forward to a restful weekend spending time with the boys.

Thanks again for all of your support :A

    Hi logie

Had another great Sada day today (I am lucky to have a couple of sa's who work with me).

12 free ww meals + fillers over 2 shops = spent 82p, apgs for just over £6.00

Activia - bought 20 (4 different flavours) + 4 x 10p sweets (fillers) and should have been charged £8.40, however till charged £10.05 as discounts came off wrongly. Went to CS expecting a small refund and possibly a £2 giftcard if I got lucky, however got a lovely chap who gave me a £12 refund and let me keep the items?

Thank you so much to the Activia posters as I have had a couple of days off from mse and nearly missed this one.

Reloaded - Got a load from Tesco when they were £1.85 v £1.00 at A meaning that T paid me 85p to drink each can. No stock any more in T's and beggars can't be choosers so I got a 'few' today from A's to top up my stash ('few' meaning more than 35 and less than 40). Thankfully this has still got a week to run, so fingers crossed A's keep putting out more stock.

Have got enough Cadbury's fingers to last me till 2020 and no need for any Vinnie's biscuits, just wish that my store stocked 400g MT. Loadsa 200g and 800g, just no 400g.:mad:

Not as unusual as you might think - my cousin is a bus driver in a rural area and he is always coming home with stuff. Little old ladies give him chocolate bars, tubes of sweet, etc and one guy always gives him a cake every fortnight when he comes back from doing his shopping in the town.

Thanks for this. I'm now considering selling my house, donating the proceeds to the local church and becoming a bus driver. Who needs to go shopping for glitches, if i'm handed it on a plate by such kind people who do all the leg work for me? I LOVE this thread for all the good ideas I get.. I only hope I can give something back soon.

I am not judging but just curious as I would like to get in on the act, how do you and others manage to get multiple of the same items with MOCs? If I use two I think I am being watched so tend to go round with multiple shops rather than being multiple in one shop, yet you and others have reported using many in shops without a hitch. What is the secret please?

    Many thanks
