Boots literacy and numeracy test?

Has anyone ever completed this?

I just completed it but I'm a little concerned I didn't do very well.

I got Level 2 for Literacy and only Level 1 for Numeracy.

My numeracy test seemed weird. I filled in all the boxes as far as I'm aware and then it popped up saying I haven't completed all of the skills, am I sure I want to continue. I looked back, clicked on everything I thought that might be affecting it, then clicked submit. It said again I had missed stuff? I eventually thought that maybe it was to make me double check my work? So I pressed submit but now I'm worrying! :(

Does anyone know what I will HAVE to have level wise in order to get an interview? I have GCSE's at A and C grade for English and Maths. Will this be considered?

  • I recently did the Boots literacy and numeracy test for an optical assistant apprenticeship role. I also got Level 2 in literacy and Level 1 in numeracy.

I was not offered an interview, but this may be for other reasons. I heard Level 1 is the lowest but I'm not too sure.

  • If they are using the standard levels then Level 2 = GCSE C-A*
Level 1 = GCSE Pass up to C
I would say your results are entirely normal. Often people with A* Maths get a level 1 as the questions are more about the application of maths in real situations.
