I bought the £3.50 Chicken Breat Joint one yesterday & cooked it up last night.Very easy to do but I had to allow extra time than stated on the pack. The was not much shrinkage & a very crisp skin as well. (I added some German Chicken seasoning before I cooked it up tho)
The meat was moist & it seemed to be made up of complete chicken breasts joined together & covered with the skin to form a joint.
The was a little water/juice mixture that went on to make a loverly gravy (I tried some out of the pan & it was very chickeny)
The only bit that was wasted was about a teaspoonful of that rubbery gunk you get with these meats.

All in all it was very nice & I'll be using them again, heck even Daisy cat enjoyed a rather large couple slices, the rest I'm having in sarnies.
    Tip...
DON'T throw out the tin tho, they make good roasting trays or lasagna tins!!!!:T

I used to buy these before i could cook they were ok the ham was nice.

However they are over priced imo you can pick up a gammon roast for the same price but twice as much, or if you have a makro or local meat wholesaler your can pick up good sized breasts for £1 each (or less i get 24ish for £19) 2 can eaisly feed 4. nice as a freezer back up tho with a bag of there roast taties, some yorkshires and some mixed veg and gravy for a little-no effort tea and still cheaper than a takeaway.

Not really as I'd say the was the equivalent of 3 to 4 large chicken breast's to the roast,so for a singly like me,they're not bad value as I get a feed,Daisy gets a feed & leftovers too!:T

I'm not talking about supermarket ones, the ones we get are massive hubby acually asked me if i was sure they weren't turkey breasts :rotfl:2 feeds the 5 of us easy and ones more than enough in a casarole/pie/curry.
