Work van and commuting use

Hi
Not sure if this is in the correct forum as I couldnt really find a category
i was wondering does anyone else have a company van that they use and get charged for using?
At the moment my place of work is classed as my home and i set off on a morning in my company van, go about my daily jobs and then return home, all classed as part of my working day.
there are going to be some changes where, if i have to go into the main office an hours drive away I will no longer be allowed to class this as works time and they are going to charge me per mile for each mile of this journey type.
Does anyone have any idea an average cost per mile that a company normally charges for this use?
Ive had a look online and it will be classed as commuting use, not personal use as i would still not be allowed to use it for that so I would not have to pay the tax etc
Sorry if this sounds confusing I am just trying to work out what they can charge me as I dont want to get completely ripped off.

They can charge you a rate for doing this. Be careful though because there can be some serious tax implications.0

Why will the journey to office not be classed as work time?Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0

It's work full stop, I would not pay.0

Someones got their wires crossed here. It is work time as you are driving from its (agreed?) parking/storage space - coincidentally your home - and other work.0

What I would do is buy yourself a car, leave the van on site at the main office then you will not be charged for use of the van, you will be using your own car to get to work.0
