Anyone had this happen before?

Many many many many times. Part of the reason I stopped using them. Along with
- late deliveries
- deliveries by taxi with no paperwork
- entire bag-fulls missing (let alone a single item), including on one memorable Christmas Eve, a turkey
and the clincher
- a bag of mouldy satsumas£2 Savers Club 2016 #21 £14/£250

I've had various stuff missing from Tesco before - usually if you ask they'll give you a voucher off your next shop for the inconvenience.
I'm terribly sorry about that turkey though, that's absolutely terrible :C
Ocado are even worse for me, though, so I just swap about :P0 -
I had this many times and they will refund the money but not always the delivery charge. However, I must add I got so fed up with forgotten items and seriously weird substitutions and bad packing that I moved to Sainsburys.
I not only had mouldy satsumas but many times I had potatoes and onions packed on top of bananas!!
I offered to go to Tesco and teach the packers how to pack and what goes in what bag with no response. I left and moved to Sainsburys0 -
LOL glad it's not just me then.
I've been around all of them but I am now settled with Waitrose. No delivery charge (if spending over £50) and after nearly a year I have had no complaints. When something has been damaged their customer services are excellent and refunded immediately, and I sometimes get online vouchers emailed to me and little gifts in with my shopping. Can't remember a single time when aything has been missing. Highly recommended.£2 Savers Club 2016 #21 £14/£250

Yes - I went into my "hysterical, middle-aged, menopausal woman" act big time. The driver was amazing - he went straight back to the store and phoned me from the shop floor to describe all the turkeys in the fridge, then once I'd picked one he came straight back with it. Lesson learned though, never again have I left delivery of the turkey to the last minute!

Their online groceries site is currently not allowing order amendments (reported the prob about 4 hours ago now)...... not good when you have an order booked for tomorrow & need to make a few changes :mad:0
