Wescot

Can anyone advise please.

I check my credit rating quite regularly. A few months ago my credit rating dropped because a company called Wescot filed a ccj against me. I phoned them straight away and they said they are chasing a credit card debt. I stated it was not my debt, never had that brand of credit card and they said contact the court and apply for a "set judgement aside" which i did and had to pay £80:mad:. They traced it back to an old address where I lived 10 years ago.

I thought that would be the end of it and my credit rating would go back up.

Today I received a letter saying I have to attend my local county court soon.

One twist to the story, my father has the same name as me and has live in the traced address.

What should I expect?
Do I have to prove something?
Have they got to prove something?
Will they have a copy of the cards signature and the application form for the credit card-which i hope?
Should I get legal advice?
