One of my brothers got a Nokia 1112 recently from Carphone Warehouse for £15. The deal was if he were to buy it with an Orange SIM he could have the hand set for half the price. The only thing is the phone is locked to Orange so if you want to get it unlocked you may have to contact the provider otherwise check out this thread to get it unlocked if the phone you manage to get is locked to a specific provider.
Have a look at this article if you are not sure about unlocking mobile phones.
I’ve just checked Carphone Warehouse’s website too and they are selling the Nokia 1112 for 19.95 + £10 air time £29.95 altogether but I’m sure if you go in store you may get a cheaper deal.

I made a slight mistake the Nokia 1112 may only be unlockable if you contact the Network that supplied the phone. No harm in trying if you can get a better deal from Carphone Warehouse, however I guess reehsetin’s idea would be better.

Virgin have the Nokia for £25 which includes 200 anytime mins to any network ( at 35 pence pm, thats worth £70). Calls to other Virgin phones are 15 ppm and texts 3p. I don`t know if other suppliers do the same but Virgin seem to charge for the lenth of the call. I.e, I called my kids briefly and the charge was 7p - not a 15p min fee.0
